NEW COMMUTER SURGERIES:

A limited walk-in surgery is available daily for urgent new problems.  This is on a first come first served basis and you will need to book in at reception after 8.00am.

Please note every Wednesday 12.30pm - 1.30pm the Surgery is closed for staff training.

Walkern

GP walk-in surgery, NO pre-booked appointments. This surgery is for the convenience of our country patients. It is intended for minor ailments only.

Online Appointments

We would like to introduce a new service called Vision Online Services. This will let you book and cancel appointments with our practice online. 

To be able to make online appointments you must first register for online services. Once registered you will receive an email giving you instructions to enable you to create your username and password - this may take up to 5 working days to be processed.

Once your account has been created and you have activated it you will be able to book appointments with an available doctor, view any existing appointments and cancel any appointments if required via our online services.

Please note you will only be able to cancel appointments that have been made online, not appointments made at the surgery or on the telephone.

Home Visits

If you are too unwell to attend the surgery and wish request a doctor to visit, please make the request between 8.00am and 10.00am when possible, as this will ensure the visiting doctor has your records. 

Your visit request may be triaged by the nurse or doctor in order to assess whether a home visit is appropriate. If you are able to get to the surgery, please do so whenever possible.

Out of Hours

Please ring the surgery.

Doctor appointments can be made and cancelled using your telephone key pad, just follow the instructions. Doctor appointments can also be made online, please ask at reception to register for this service.

If you need to see a doctor urgently out of normal surgery hours please ring 111.
